The National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT) welcomes members and friends to its 39th Annual Conference celebration, to be held June 8-10, 2018 at the Parc 55 Hotel in San Francisco, CA. Mark your calendar! You don’t want to miss this annual event geared specifically to language professionals and other stakeholders in language services.

Our conference provides a unique opportunity to network with language professionals who work in many settings, along with influential people associated with the profession. Attend insightful educational sessions catered to the profession, as well as issues related to language access and national trends. Pre-Conference Workshops: On Friday, June 8, 2018, we will offer a selection of full and half-day workshops. These workshops have limited seating and are designed to be hands-on, skill-building sessions. Pre-conference registration is separate from the main conference registration fee.

Cocktail Reception: Kick up your heels on Saturday evening at this social event. There will be great food and the chance to meet and greet old and new friends alike. The price of this event is included in the regular registration fee. If you have someone traveling with you, you may purchase a guest ticket.

Educational Program: Saturday and Sunday will be devoted to a slate of educational sessions geared specifically to interpreters, translators and those that work with them. The complete schedule will be posted in January.

Continuing education credits will be offered for a number of states and organizations. Last year the following states and organizations approved CEUs for the NAJIT conference: ATA, California, CCHI, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, IMIA, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin. Approvals are added to the website as they are received. Check back in February 2018 for details.
