而早年網上亦有瘋傳一篇關於嘉頓什餅的「五餅二魚」潮文，戲稱《聖經》記載耶穌以「五餅二魚」餵飽五千人的神跡的真相，「其實『五餅二魚』真正意思係『五餅二餘』嘉頓雜餅傳完5000人仲餘下兩罐雜餅」，不少港人亦有在帖文下熱心留言向台灣網民解釋嘉頓什餅潮文，並指「大家不喜歡他，原因不是味道，而是份量的確是太多」。
