香港工程師協會航空分部副主席詹永年今早（5日）在電台節目中表示，活動所在的中環屬管制空域，民航處有責任查詢，而且本港有法例規管繫留氣球，處方會考慮氣球操作時間與其他空域使用者之間的安全性，才會批出許可。

The event organiser thanked government departments for their support and said after months of communication and technical demonstrations, they were pleased to have secured government approval for flying captive balloons within the venue for display purposes, with no passengers on board.
