馬來西亞發生一宗「鼠尿病」奪命事件。馬六甲一名23歲青年登山後驟逝，他懷疑因飲用未清洗表面的罐裝飲料，感染俗稱「鼠尿病」的鉤端螺旋體病(Leptospirosis)，病情僅4天內急速惡化，最終因多重器官衰竭死亡。
