該廠早年接到外國客戶要求使用環保包裝，用可降解的聚乙烯醇（PVA）透明袋作衫褲包裝袋，「不過當時個質地有啲黏黏哋，如果潮濕嘅時候就更嚴重，工人入衫都好難入」，Wendy 邀得內地華南理工大學（SCUT）崔躍飛教授協助，研發專利技術將PVA改製成不帶黏性的不織布，「原材料就係 100％ 聚乙烯醇，我哋攞住同一個物料呢，就 reformalize（重組）咗佢」。
