南韓國會昨日表決通過被稱為「具荷拉法案」的民法修正案，規定嚴重違反撫養或贍養義務、犯下情節嚴重罪行，以及令被繼承人受到嚴重不當待遇的人士，喪失法定繼承權。法案2026年1月正式實施，並適用於2023年4月後的繼承案件。

The Goo Hara law was petitioned by Mr Koo himself after his sister died at age 28 in 2019. He said their mother, who had been absent from their lives since leaving home when Goo was nine, turned up after her death and tried to claim the assets of the deceased.
