美國北卡羅萊納州立大學和北卡羅萊納自然科學博物館的古生物學家在猶他州雪松山地層中發現一種前所未見的恐龍化石，推測屬於一種新種恐龍，牠們生活在約9,900萬年前的白堊紀時期，且一生中部分時間在地下洞穴中度過，與大多數為人熟知的恐龍生活習性截然不同。
