美媒報導，比拉絲2021年東京奧運因心理障礙「空中失感」（twisties），退出女子團體決賽和隨後的4個單項決賽，休息2年後，現年27歲的她28日與美國體操隊成員一同現身巴黎雅高體育館，出戰女子個人及團體全能競技體操資格賽；當她登場時，觀眾報以如雷掌聲，她也笑容滿面向觀眾揮手致意，看起來非常放鬆。
