根據本台早前向米勒了解，由於簽證記錄牽涉私隱，所以國務院不會具體指明哪位官員將會被美國拒絕入境，但米勒指國務院援引的條例別名為「卡舒吉禁令」（Khashoggi Ban），用以紀念被殺害的沙特阿拉伯記者卡舒吉，而條例只適用於被認為直接參與嚴重侵害域外異見人士的人。

The State Department should sanction Awadh al-Ahmari, the Head of the Saudi Specialized Criminal Court (SCC), pursuant to the Khashoggi Ban and bar him from travel to the United States for his role in extraterritorial, counter-dissident activities, said Democracy for the Arab World Now (DAWN) today, in a submission to the State Department.
