柏金遜症等老人常見病症早已廣為人知，然而不少人對柏金遜症的認知局限於其運動症狀，如手震等。其實柏金遜症患者亦會出現痛症、抑鬱等非運動症狀。

Also, very often, they have sleep disorders, for example, acting out their dreams when they sleep, or insomnia, or daytime sleepiness… Depression and anxiety are also very common non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.”
