日本小林製藥的紅麴保健食品安全問題持續發酵，雖然公司連番道歉，但處理危機手法一直遭人詬病，除了拖近2個月才公布回收產品外，公司也被指延遲公布產品驗出軟毛青黴酸的消息，反而由厚生勞動省最早宣布，小林製藥管理層再遭輿論炮轟。
