明愛醫院有病人在被運送深切治療部期間，使用的氧氣樽氣閥未有開啟，病人其後死亡，醫務衞生局局長盧寵茂被問到如何避免類似情況再發生，他說醫療事故每宗都不想發生，今次事件牽涉開關掣問題，並非高技術醫療行為，強調毋須很高技術的人員去操作，醫管局及明愛醫院會調查事發原因。
