SEC日前起訴幣安，指公司涉嫌經營詐騙網絡（web of deception），其13項指控中，包括指Binance及趙長鵬，利用Merit Peak 和另一家亦由趙長鵬控制的貿易公司 Sigma Chain，將公司資金與客戶資產混合，並「隨心所欲（as they please）」地使用這些資金，令客戶的資產面臨風險，因此要求美國法院凍結其在美國的資產。
