在4月26日的爆炸案發生後，俾路支解放軍（Balochistan Liberation Army）馬吉德旅（Majeed brigade）發表聲明承認發動襲擊，指施襲者為女子Shari Baloch及發布她的照片，稱她「對中國人作出自我犧牲的攻擊」，又指她是組織內首位女性自殺式炸彈襲擊者。
