4年一度的全運會由國家體育總局主辦,今屆共設35個競賽項目,而特區政府派出多名香港運動員參與一共18項決賽項目,包括射箭、田徑、羽毛球、拳擊、皮划艇（靜水）、自行車（公路、場地、山地）、馬術（場地障礙）、擊劍、高爾夫球、體操（藝術體操）、乒乓球、跆拳道、網球、排球（沙灘排球）、棒壘球（棒球）、空手道、攀岩及武術（套路、散打)。

There are a total of 35 events in this year’s tournament. Athletes from the city will participate in finals of 18 events, including archery, athletics, badminton, boxing, canoe (sprint), cycling (road race, track, mountain bike), equestrian (jumping), fencing, golf, gymnastics (rhythmic gymnastics), table tennis, taekwondo and tennis.
