政府提出修訂《電影檢查條例》草案，建議規定電影檢查員審查影片時，充分考慮國家安全因素。商務及經濟發展局局長邱騰華表示，電影的影響力很大，《港區國安法》列明政府須防範及制止所有危害國家安全的行為，若電影被利用作危害國家安全、顛覆政府、宣傳恐怖活動的媒介，便必須要禁止。
