Hui also claimed that according to the legal advice he obtained, where the police issued a letter of no consent to the bank under the Organised and Serious Crimes Ordinance to freeze someone’s account, the validity period of the letter should not exceed 6 Months, and now 6 months have passed, he criticised HSBC for its obvious violation of regulations, which was akin to permanent embezzlement of private property.
