對於美國有線新聞網CNN報道指，核電廠發生放射性泄漏事故，當局指，一迴路放射性水平增加與放射性泄漏事故是兩回事，只要反應堆冷卻劑系統壓力邊界和安全殼密封性均滿足要求，就不存在向環境泄漏放射性的問題，而這兩道實體屏障是安全。
