TIFA就是「貿易暨投資架構協定」(Trade and Investment Framework Agreement)的簡稱，是美國為了擴大與全世界各個地區貿易和投資的重要平台。臺美自1994年簽署TIFA後，於1995~2014年間已陸續召開過8次臺美TIFA會議。第9屆台美TIFA會議，將於今天(2015年10月1日)在台北舉行。
