警方前日於柴灣搗破一個跨國販毒集團的製毒工場，檢獲約17.4公斤可卡因，市值逾3300萬元，3名外籍男子各被暫控一項販毒罪，今日將於西九龍裁判法院提堂。警方調查後揭發有人以掏空零件的變壓器運毒到港。

“They were suspected of storing drugs in transformers and bringing them through airmail from Southeast Asian countries,” Alan Chung, superintendent of the Crime Kowloon West Headquarters said.
