2019年，吳翰林針對香港的《無遺囑者遺產條例》入稟法院，指有關法律「違憲」。根據法例，無遺囑者遺產會先分配給死者配偶、子女、父母、其他親戚及政府。吳翰林認為，有關政策違反了《人權法》和《基本法》保障人人平等的原則，屬歧視不同性傾向的人。
