新冠肺炎疫情無礙一年一度的書展，今年將於7月15至21日在灣仔香港會議展覽中心舉行。貿發局副總裁周啟良昨三度被問全國人大會議通過「港區國安法」後，參展商能否銷售政治書，他表示貿發局不會預先審查，書商需自律，「展出要在香港法律框架下進行」；有書商形容「港區國安法」為「泰山壓頂」，亦有書店表示早於3月已向貿發局查詢能否販賣六四書籍及劉曉波詩集，惟未獲回應。
