商務及經濟發展局局長邱騰華說，現時有10萬個住戶仍然使用模擬電視，其中8萬戶是低收入人士或長者。政府會為他們免費加裝機頂盒或新數碼電視機，今日下午2時開始接受申請，預期首批在農曆新年後就可以安裝。
