本港模擬電視服務將於今年11月30日正式終止，符合入息資格的模擬電視住戶昨天起可向社聯申請資助，更換數碼電視或加裝數碼機頂盒，料8萬戶低收入人士或長者受惠，開支預算約為4.5億元，社聯最快可在農曆新年後開始為合資格者上門更換及安裝數碼電視，當局估計每宗個案平均花8星期完成手續並成功上門安裝電視。

The administration says a recent survey suggests about 92 percent of homes have already switched to digital TV. But around 100,000 households still have analogue TV sets and their screens will go blank by December.
