太平洋島國所羅門群島司法部長穆里亞（John Muria）周四（24日）宣布，該國中部省省長上月跟中國國企中國森田企業集團簽訂有關租下圖拉吉島（Tulagi）的合約違法。森田計劃租賃該島75年，其間建立一個經濟特區，但民眾憂慮中國想在當地興建軍事基地，總理索加瓦雷（Manasseh Sogavare）的辦公室早前亦發聲明，指合約必須立即中止。
