英國環保組織「反抗滅絕」（Extinction Rebellion）發起「佔領行動」，號召數千民眾上街抗議，癱瘓倫敦市中心交通，要求政府正視氣候問題。抗議行動持續十天，疑似知名英國街頭藝術家 Banksy 的作品於 25 日晚被發現在示威者於大理石拱門 (Marble Arch) 的抗議基地。作品寫道﹕「從此刻起絕望結束，戰術開始。」
