在新「四年雙邊界」的計劃中，英國將在脱歐過渡期2021年屆滿後，容許北愛爾蘭大體留在歐盟單一市場。到了2025年，北愛議會將決定未來是否繼續留守歐盟的法規，或回歸英國法則。
