昨晚賽事參賽馬之一「劍追風」，「劍」系主理人、「劍斷浪」及「劍追聲」馬主許坤華不同意馬會決定，他說在1997年回歸前，國家領導人鄧小平承諾香港回歸後「馬照跑、舞照跳」，這是香港繁榮、安定、自由的象徵，認為港府和馬會有責任守住香港「馬照跑」的底線，「可惜現時守不到，令人覺得香港真的死了」。
