海關於上月19日至本月6日,根據投訴較多的行業及外界關注的貨品,巡查17間酒樓、24個海鮮檔、56間水果零售店,以及試購預先包裝食物。人員發現11宗「呃秤」個案,當中酒樓及海鮮檔各涉4宗,水果零售店則涉兩宗,另有一宗涉及預先包裝冰鮮豬肉。

The most serious case involved a restaurant in To Kwa Wan, which claimed a lobster weighed about 34 per cent more than it did. Another restaurant in Kwai Chung overcharged HK$123 for a lobster short-weight by 0.22kg, or about 24 per cent.
