法務部檢察司長王俊力下午表示，雖然《聯合國兒童權利公約》定義18歲以下為兒少，但我國《刑法》的兒少相關法規多還是以16歲為界線，且根據衛福部資料，2017到2018年間的重大兒虐事件，被害人為15到18歲者是0，所以草案沒有對16歲做更動，當然如果大部分立委希望配合聯合國，法務部也予以尊重。
