意大利政府日前拒絕一艘載有629名難民的救援船靠岸，遭法國總統馬克龍批評冷漠和不負責任，引發兩國外交風波。立場反移民的意大利副總理兼內政部長薩爾維尼指出，法國拒絕在接壤意大利的邊境接收難民，沒有資格說教，並認為除非馬克龍道歉，否則總理孔特不應在今日會晤對方。馬克龍昨日致電孔特，稱無意冒犯意大利人，兩人同意今日如期在巴黎會面，並認為兩國需合作改善移民政策。
