死因裁判官向為死者進行針灸推拿的中醫師指出，根據驗屍報告，死者患有深層靜脈血管栓塞，中醫師指未曾考慮死者患該病症，因據其症狀及病歷，死者並非高風險患者，而他當時已明確診斷死者的膝頭及小腿後側肌腱拉傷，遂進行針灸及推拿治療。
