2015年3月19日事發當天，事主因左膝關節後方及左小腿後方疼痛求診，李檢查後發現其左腳無明顯紅腫，小腿筋腱則有輕微發熱及肌肉發硬，診斷為左膝關節及小腿肌腱後側拉傷，便為事主針灸及推拿。
