現場為港灣道香港會議展覽中心會展廣場辦公大樓，今晨11時許，2名分別姓陳（49歲）及姓鄭（44歲）男清潔工人，乘坐一艘一米乘4米吊船，在大樓靠向菲林明道外牆工作期間，當吊船停在15樓外牆時，突被一陣強風吹襲，吊船纜索懷疑被吹致鬆脫，導致吊船在半空中擺動，並吹向另一邊的港灣道外牆。
