《每日電訊報》昨引述保守黨消息人士稱，多達30名議員準備簽署聯名信要求文翠珊下台，若逼宮成功，文翠珊可能在聖誕節前就要下台。消息稱，逼宮陣營未來幾個月可取得48名議員支持。據保守黨黨規，若有15%黨議員（即48名議員）去信「1922委員會」主席要求文翠珊下台，就可對她提出不信任動議。
