緬甸國防軍總司令敏昂萊周三訪問若開邦，促當地流離失所的非穆斯林民眾回家，但未有提逃到孟加拉的羅興亞人。中國駐緬甸大使館昨日則在最大城市仰光向緬甸紅十字會提供人道主義援助，以協助若開邦因暴力襲擊而流離失所的民眾。

Some 400 people have since been killed, and an estimated 150,000 have fled to neighbouring Bangladesh as a result of what is seen as a scorched earth counteroffensive by the military, known locally as the Tatmadaw.
