本港天氣持續酷熱，天文台由本周四(17日)下午3時許發出酷熱天氣警告，至今仍未取消。惟仍有不少人趁假期冒熱行山，沙田、石澳、大埔及西貢，至少有5名行山客疑中暑不適，全部由飛行服務隊直升機送院。據天文台資料顯示，該4處地點下午的溫度由攝氏32.8度至35.2度。

As the Hong Kong Observatory hoisted a “Very Hot Weather Warning”, there were many other cases where hikers had suffered from heat stroke during the weekend.
