另有女童因患末期神經母細胞瘤，為圓心願「嫁給」最好的朋友，不久後便離世。目前，本港每年約有200宗兒童患癌新症，即每1萬個兒童中有1個患癌，雖然發病比率不算高，但兒童癌症無法預先檢測，故可說防不勝防。
