無綫前年中在台慶頒獎典禮安排藝人吃炸雞,被通訊事務管理局罰款後提出司法覆核。通訊局今年2月起收集公眾對植入式廣告意見,逾四成人接受植入式廣告,逾一成人不接受,通訊局認為觀眾普遍對植入式廣告不反感,決定檢討相關條文,務求在可行和適當情况下放寬相關規定及限制。
