食物環境衞生署早前在不同地區的非法棄置垃圾黑點，展開安裝網絡攝錄機的試驗計劃，現計劃於南區黑點安裝攝錄機，預計2018年年初完成安裝，當中黑點包括過去1年有1500多噸非法棄置垃圾的利南道垃圾站、1100多噸非法垃圾的新圍村臨時垃圾站外等。

The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) launched a six-month pilot scheme on installation of Internet Protocol cameras (the Pilot Scheme) at the end of last year, under which Internet Protocol (IP) cameras have been installed at a total of six illegal refuse dumping blackspots in Central and Western, Sham Shui Po and Yuen Long Districts to step up surveillance on illegal dumping of refuse and to assist in the planning of more effective law enforcement actions.
