國家主席習近平昨日在北京宣佈，中國將設立「一帶一路」國際合作高峰論壇後續聯絡機制，成立「一帶一路」財經發展研究中心、「一帶一路」建設促進中心、同多邊開發銀行共同設立多邊開發融資合作中心、同國際貨幣基金組織合作建立能力建設中心。

The AIIB, officially launched in January 2016, is a multilateral development bank initiated by China and supported by a wide range of countries and regions, which provides financing for infrastructure improvement in Asia.

The deputy minister said the 18-month-old AIIB achieved what other multilateral development banks (MDBs) took four to five years to achieve.
