行政長官梁振英去信立法會調查UGL事件的專責委員會，要求擴大委員會研究範圍，研究他在一一年和澳洲公司UGL簽訂的協議中，指執行協議時不會造成利益衝突的手寫條款，是否偽造。梁振英早前承認自己曾經修改委員會副主席周浩鼎提交的建議研究範圍文件，指自己有權發表意見，又表示過去曾經有人提出過協議上的手寫條款可能是偽造，因此他希望委員會一併研究。
