超強颱風「莫蘭蒂」近距離在台灣以南掠過，當地災情嚴重，有民眾在台北桃園拍下罕見的「波狀粗糙雲」，相中的雲底呈波浪狀，從地面往上看，就像波濤洶湧的海面，十分壯觀，台灣中央氣象局氣象預報中心主任鄭明典在facebook轉載有關相片，隨即獲逾2,000人讚好或表示驚訝，吸引不少台北民眾，紛紛上載他們拍下的「波狀粗糙雲」照。
