Little known to anyone who has lived outside of Yuen Long, Wang Chau is a rustic haven encircled by industrial and residential estates. But it recently grabbed headlines as allegations fired back and forth between villagers, lawmakers, the rural faction and the government over a public housing project set to be built there.
