由於火勢猛烈，於中午12時14分火警升為3級，消防處共出動超過120人、30輛消防車、2輛雲梯車、4條消防喉，及8隊煙帽隊，在火場內外灌救，坍塌搜救隊亦奉召到場，一度進入大廈內視察，由於環境密閉，大火持續未熄，消防於昨晚7時46分升為4級。
