電子競技興起,連2022年的杭州亞運會都將之列為正式比賽項目,林大輝卻對此大惑不解,認為電競未如其他運動需要一定的體能需要,反問:「如果咁樣嚟講,打麻雀可唔可以成為一個體育運動呢?」他認同電競可以作為產業發展,但列為比賽項目卻是「丈八金剛摸不着頭腦」。
