香港旅遊業僱員總會、香港專業導遊總工會及香港旅遊業導師協會等三個旅遊業工會今召開記者會，促請政府盡快成立旅監局，為業界提供法規，冀有法可依可提高阻嚇性。香港專業導遊總工會主席余莉華批評，旅議會並非法定機構，導致執行力不足，政府成立旅監局至今仍「未有影」，亦沒有向業界提出最新時間表。
