According to a press release by the Hong Kong government, the FTA — called the Hong Kong and Macau Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement — will include a commitment to abolishing tariffs and minimizing non-tariff barriers, as well as avoiding imposing trade remedies such as anti-dumping and safeguard actions.
