報道說，今年開展淨網行動後，已經關閉傳播淫穢色情信息、從事招嫖行為的微博客賬號超過15萬個，從事招嫖行為的微信等移動即時通信賬號70萬個，傳播淫穢色情信息的微信等即時通信工具公眾賬號3千多個，「違法違規」QQ賬號90多萬個。
