港澳辦前副主任、全國港澳研究會會長陳佐洱昨日表示，香港經濟、民生方面的進展「差強人意」（意指未如人意），以及香港出現巨大的內耗，問題源自香港深層次負面原因，包括兩個「化」，即回歸以後沒有「依法實施 『去殖民化』」，以及「去中國化」死灰復燃、氣焰囂張，但他未有回應「依法」是指哪條法律，只着大家「在《基本法》裏找」。

“Hong Kong has not decolonized in accordance with the law. This has allowed certain things that should have been relegated to museums to jump out and attract attention. Some of these are even regarded as golden rules,” Chen said.
